Job Description
We wish to inform you that DSWD Field Office VII, Cebu City has the vacant Contractual position:
TERMS OF REFERENCE
(1) PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER II
(Government/Private Sector Partnership Officer) - 1 SLOT
Salary Grade : 15 (Php 36,619.00)
Status of Employment : : Contractual
Location/Office : Field Office VII
Program/Division/Unit : : Sustainable Livelihood Program
Reports to : Regional Program Coordinator
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Education : Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job
Experience : One (1) year of relevant experience
Training : Four (4) hours of relevant training
Eligibility : None Required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
Education : Bachelor's degree in any business-related and/or Social Science related courses
Experience : At least 1 year of relevant experience in development-related projects involving community organizing, business development and/or training
Training : At least 8 hours of relevant training in any or a combination of the following: project management, social entrepreneurship, business plan development, business operations, project implementation, employment relations, and community organizing
JOB SUMMARY:
1. Analyze related market and labor trends and come up with an assessment of the emerging opportunities.
2. Facilitate government/private partnership engagements ensuring preparation of regional/provincial/local livelihood assets and market map.
3. Identify and engage key partners from the government/private sector.
4. Engage in government partners for the sustainability of livelihoods and proper monitoring of SLP projects.
5. Lead in the livelihood model development involving the government/private sector.
6. Conduct a pre-engagement assessment of government/private partners.
7. Formulation of contracts.
8. Monitor government/private partnership projects.
9. Assessment of government/private partners' performance.
10. Preparation of the required monitoring, assessment and/or terminal reports.
11. Recommend to the RPC the extension, termination and/or renewal of the partnership.
12. Convergence with internal SLP partners, DSWD's Standards Bureau/unit on the engagement of qualified private partners.
13. Collaborate with the PDO for Government/Private Sector Partnership.
14. Provide technical assistance to the PC and field PDO with regard to government/private partnership and engagement.
15. Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
