Using its strong technical and financial strength, ENGIE is supporting its Customer by improving and upgrading their energy consumption to reduce their CO2 footprint and energy bills.
About the Position
ENGIE is looking for a dynamic and outgoing Project Development Engineer to re-enforce the growing business development team and to represent the "Industry solution" team in the Philippines.
ENGIE Philippines main activities are currently around development of District Cooling Systems, Energy Efficiency for commercial building (Chilled water...) and Renewable on-site energy generation (Solar C&I). You will join the task force to develop the activity around the industrial Clients (Energy Efficiency on utilities, Digitization, Waste to Energy, Co-Gen, etc...)
Key responsibilities
Main role will be:
- Establish and follow-up a pipeline of energy efficiency projects,
- Liaise and get support from the Industry solution team, located in the regional HQ (Singapore) to develop the project from client engagement to commercial closure,
- Develop and maintain business relation and partnership with external stakeholders (engineering firm, EPC contractor, OEM...) with a business development mind-set.
- Prepare and steer internal approval processes in close collaboration with Technical, Financial and Legal teams,
- Represent ENGIE "zero-carbon" strategy to the market.
Experience & skills
- Technical background with strong commercial and business development acumen,
- Strong communication skills and capable of interfacing with clients at management level,
- General technical skills and capable to interface with Client's technical teams and contractors,
- Good understanding of the energy efficiency project development phases,
- Experienced in industrial projects and industrial environment,
- Knowledgeable on project financial modelling,
- Good understanding of Philippines energy market,
- Excellent professional writing and presentation skills,
- Organized self-starter and proactive
- Network of contractors, engineering firms and / or OEMs would be a plus,
- Excited about decarbonisation and energy efficiency technologies,
- Fluent in English both in writing and presentation.
