Job Description
Responsible for determining and coordinating the sharing of resources among their constituent projects to the overall benefit of ISDP programs and Project for Globe.
Possess the knowledge and skills needed to be effective in the program, project, business, and/or government environments, and to make decisions that accomplish strategic objectives.
Establish within the program a support and strategic structure that will aid and govern the management of the ISDP Programs for Globe.
Overall Management of Globe Programs covering Scope, Time, Cost, and Quality
Overall Delivery Governance for Globe Group Programs
Strategy and Roadmap Building for Globe Group Programs
Responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple, related projects directed toward strategic business and organizational objectives. These programs contain complex activities that may span different business units and support groups.
Works to ensure that the overall program structure and program management processes enable the program and its component teams to successfully complete their work and to integrate the components deliverables in the program's end products, services, results, and benefits. The program managers are expected to work to ensure that the projects are organized and executed in a consistent manner and fulfilled within established standards.
Define and initiate projects and assign project managers to manage cost, schedule and performance of component projects, while working to ensure the ultimate success and acceptance of the program.
Maintain continuous alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives, and make recommendations to modify the program to enhance effectiveness toward the business result or strategic intent.
Build credibility, establish rapport and maintain communication with the portfolio manager, sponsors, stakeholders at multiple levels, including those external to the organization enabling management of program performance, risk and issues.
Should address a number of issues systematically and effectively during the course of the program, optimizing resources among program's components, evaluating total cost of ownership, and overseeing requirements and configuration management across components.
