We are looking for someone to join our International Team as a Project Coordinator / Project Manager. This is a full-time, 40 hours a week role based in the Philippines and can be performed from a home office. Reliable internet connection, strong English proficiency (written and verbal), and experience in client liaison and project management/coordination are vital for performing this role.
As a successful applicant for this role, you will be involved in managing business process improvement projects, change/organisational management reviews, compliance implementation and system implementation projects working with many of Australia's Universities and Higher Education Institutions. The aim is to deliver positive and sustainable change in an evolving Education sector - one project at a time!
You will have 3-8 years' experience managing projects and working closely across project activities, ideally working within the Education sector.
You will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of our clients' project requirements, on time and within budget, as well as ensuring all project administration is organised effectively. You will be coordinating and undertaking project activities as well as coordinating contractors to deliver outcomes.
You must be willing to learn, have a great attitude and be an active member of our team. You will have an outcomes-focused work-style and be able to work closely with other team members within the DVE Project Methodology. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow the responsibilities and build the role into something bigger, as has been the case for many of our international team members. You will be supported in managing smaller projects from the beginning.
As part of this role, you will be a participant in team training activities, attend our 'team days' for personal growth, and give input to the ongoing growth and development of the business. You will report directly to the Head of Consulting and to the Delivery Manager.
Regular weekly activities including but not limited to:
Regular communication and close work with all stakeholders in relation to projects and project activities.
Monitoring project scope and budgets ensuring ongoing costs are in line with proposals
Ensuring project activities are completed and milestones and deliverables are met
Coordinating team members and contractors' work, ensuring agreed hours and costs are not exceeded.
Regular project activities such as undertaking interviews, running workshops, writing reports, peer reviewing work, providing expert advice on recommendations.
Effectively reporting to management on progress and issues with communication and drive to effective resolution
Provision of status updates for client governance committees
Utilsation of online Project Management tool to setup and track project for activity progression and effective reporting
Administration and documentation of project activities and progress
Identification of opportunities for new business and close work with the BD team to engage client
Delegating tasks appropriately to project team members and contractors ensuring the right team members are utilised for appropriate activities
Input to project proposals and tenders

To be successful in this role, you will need:
Experience managing multiple small - medium sized projects with conflicting deadlines
Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement, communication management and client communication across all organisational levels (excellent English is required)
Exceptional organisation and activity management skills
Experience in problem solving and provision of advice to assist others in influencing resolution of issues and successful outcomes
Experience based planning and scheduling skills for resource management
Coordination and communication of activities across multiple stakeholders
Project administration in line with waterfall and agile methods of project management
Ability to predict client needs and identify opportunities where we can further support them
Demonstrated experience of successful management of time, budget and scope
Development and provision of recommendations for improvements
Ability to work as part of a high-performance team to achieve project deliverables on time and in budget
A positive approach to problem solving, embracing challenges as growth opportunities
Undergraduate qualification as a minimum
Willing to work within Australia business hours.

A modern computer with minimum specs: i5 processor or equivalent, 8GB RAM, 256 GB HD
DSL or Cable internet as your main internet connection (stable) with internet speed of at least 10Mbps
A backup 4G/LTE internet connection (could be a Wi-Fi dongle or pocket Wi-Fi)
