Duties and Responsibilities:
• Preparation and analysis of periodical reports and formal financial statements for Australian Strata Plan entities; monthly, quarterly and annual compliance reporting
• BAS preparation; preparation and revision of GST figures to be reported to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO)
• Preparation of detailed annual budgets/forecasts
• Implementation and ongoing revision of systems/policies
• Ad-hoc assistance to senior management as requested
• Preparation, examination and analysis of accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Australian industry reporting and procedural standards and legislation
• Calculation of income tax liabilities and preparation of annual income tax returns, ensuring compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) requirements.
• Revision and correction expenditure allocations (general ledger/chart-of-accounts)
• Oversight of Accounts Payable and Receivable processes to ensure accuracy
• Development, implementation, ongoing revision, and documentation of record keeping processes including standard operating procedures
• Adherence to strict, set deadlines with great time-management and prioritisation skills
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in General Accounting
• Excellent use of MS Office Applications
• Experience in any Accounting software
• PIQ Strata Software knowledge highly regarded
• Easy to adapt and a fast learner
• High level of integrity and strong work ethic
• Good Interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Team player
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Must be willing to work in Clark, Pampanga
