On behalf of the CIO we work with the business to drive the strategic development of our project delivery systems, our associated IT investments and the continued implementation of strategic Digital integration and technology. This role forms part of the Execution Systems & Digital Enablement team, reporting into the Execution Systems License Management lead. The License management team supports the management, budgeting and reporting of software license management across the Fluor IT estate for all of our Project Execution Systems. The role has activities split between managing the delivery of accurate data on the consumption of licenses across the Fluor IT estate, as well as taking a hands-on approach in managing the license server infrastructure. The position is responsible for maintaining compliance to global software contracts with regards license consumption and reporting. This is a highly technical position, and the successful candidate must have experience in application/web servers, license servers as well as database knowledge specifically SQL/Oracle and powershell. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate problem solving capabilities as it relates to . Usage data relating to project execution systems, both from the structure of the data as well as data anomalies. . Loading data sets into a SQL integration environment, testing and fault fixing any data errors or load failures . Interrogating license consumption tools such as BIGFIX, Fluor meter, FAUMS and application license servers. Key Responsibilities . Maintain FlrMeter and FAUMS for reporting of license consumption, both checking for new sites as well as adding new applications to metering. . Data extraction from license resource pools / license servers to enable auditing of license consumption, typical sources include o ControlUP (Citrix Metrics application) o Heaxgon's License portal o Bentley's Support site o Autodesk's management site o AVEVA license usage reports o Aspentech's License manager and reporting site o Multiple license servers running in Fluor's server environment (Currently 8 license servers). o IIS log files for MPSU . Analysing, reporting and / or manipulating data extractions associated with log files, screen hours etc . Monitoring license consumption against server logs, and liaising with the licensing team on license trends and license replacements / top-ups. . Working with IT support functions and local automation teams in managing license server upgrades (sunsetting). . Engage with specific upgrades, new system or process implementations, or major changes to our IT infrastructure. Provide support, training, reporting and problem resolution as required. Basic Job Requirements . Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and seven (7) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eleven (11) years if non-degreed some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements . Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors . Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job . Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines . Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Preferred Qualifications . Minimum ten (10) years Project Automation or IT Systems experience . Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering or computer science is preferred or equivalent technical experience . Basic knowledge of Information Technology in: o Desktop/laptop environment and general office tools o Infrastructure (Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), telecommunications, etc.) o Electronic security and governance o Electronic communications o Network operations and support o Software development, implementation, and support . Knowledge of Automation technology and systems integration including: o Overall knowledge of the Fluor MasterPlant solutions o Overall knowledge of the tool integration capabilities and discipline integration needs . Vendor certification in Automation/Information Technology/Information Management technologies the position supports (when available) . Position will be full time remote, but may request the candidate to come to a local office as needed To be Considered Candidates: Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.
