Reporting to the Project AccountingSupervisor under the Project Accounting Division, the successful candidate willbe responsible for reviewing, analyzing, examining and validating of payablesto employees, suppliers, contractors, service providers and other claimants onPlanning & Engineering (P&E) and Right of Way (ROW) relatedtransactions. Processes and ascertain the accuracy and legitimacy of every payment to be made and ensure that itis proper and in accordance with Corporate Policies and Procedures.
Ensures timely processing/validation of claims, review and approval in adherence to the Disbursement Control Manual (DCM) and other applicable corporate policies and propriety of account codes per Accounting Manual;
Prepares and submits weekly, monthly and year to date statistics report on RFP/PO/CAL;
Maintains and updates the Accounts Payable Management System (APMS);
Complies and provides data/reports and other documentary requirements for joint inspection of NGCP books and records by TransCo;
Ensures timely compliance on audit requirements of internal and external auditors;
Provides assistance/support to internal and external auditors during field work;
Participates in the BID Evaluation Reports as Finance assigned representative.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
Certified Public Accountant
Preferably with one (1) year of relevant experience
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc)
Proficient in oral and written communications
