Description
Ensure the efficient and timely recording of all financial commitments, maintaining the cost accounting system and controlling the general administration of the project office.
Ensure the applicable requirements of the McConnell Dowell Integrated Management System and Projection Execution Plan are met.
Ensure the efficient and timely administration of Head Contract and Sub-Contract Agreements. Assist with the recording of all financial commitments to maintaining cost accounting system for both normal contract works and subcontractors.
Maintain and operate the McConnell Dowell cost system (Workbench) for the Project.
Provide timely cost reports to management.
Prepare weekly cashflow forecast for Alabang Office
Assistance in Trading Forecast submission
Check invoices against orders and delivery dockets and prepare for certification.
Ensure proper & timely vouching and batching of Workbench batches.
Carry out day to day financial administration to fulfill the requirements of the head contract and internal requirements
Maintain petty cash site account and reimbursement on a regular basis.
Financial reporting as required for internal monthly reports.
Prepare accurate end of month cost reports, in time for project approval and submission to corporate management by the last working day of the month.
Actively encourage continuous improvement and seek opportunities for savings.
Prepare reports as required by the Project Manager.
Handle transmittal of Workbench batches to/from Alabang and other pertinent documents.
Any other duties as may be required by the Company.
Competencies
Tertiary qualifications in relevant finance discipline and post-graduate certification
A minimum experience of 5 years' experience as an on-site Project Accountant department and exposure to project accounting, accounts reconciliation, document processing and regular telephone communication
Demonstrated interest and aptitude towards Project Accounting and system improvements
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
Capable of analysing financial data with the purpose of taking definitive action.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and succeed in high pressure environment
Clear and definitive communication - oral and written.
Strong numerical and accounting knowledge
Proficient in the management and operation of account software packages.
Proficient in Excel
Ability to retain confidential information.
Analytical and resourceful in solving problems.
Ability to operate successfully both within a team and individually with minimal supervision.
Committed to a safe working culture.
Proven ability to consistently produce payroll results with accuracy and on time.
Demonstrated ability to consistently work with deadline delivery pressures.
Able to work on project site in Batangas.
