We are looking for a Programmer/Developer!
The chosen candidate will join a team that provides assistance to business owners in their exit plan -whether they aim to sell their business or want to grow their business to the desired valuation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Daily duties will include the following:
* Design and implement solutions that enable extensions and refactoring of existing functionality to keep the system up-to-date and as bug-free as possible
* Stay up to date on software development best practices and the latest technology trends in the programming world
* Provide estimates of development tasks and taking direction from the PM
* Participate in the planning and architecture design of new features and product offerings
* Write code with high-maintainability and durability
* Resolve bugs, performance and infrastructure issues
* Participate in regular team planning and general discussion meetings
* Able to provide technical advice
* Able to spot and improve inefficiencies in systems
Qualifications and Experience/Skills Required
Essential skills:
* Clear communication in English (spoken and written)
* Familiar with Agile PM methodologies
* Ability to optimise the front-end of a website for mobile
* Solid commercial PHP WordPress development experience - 3 years+
* Front end coding skills:
- HTML,CSS , jQuery, Javascript
* Knowledge of WordPress website builders:
- Elementor,Visual Composer
* Knowledge of:
- Website security, Website speed optimisation, Website off-site backup maintenance- Duplicator
* Pro, MySQL / MariaDB maintenance
* Server maintenance experience with basic Linux skills
* WooCommerce development experience
* Experience with code management systems e.g. Git / Bitbucket
* Able to manage and deploy cPanel environments through WHM
Knowledge of DNS management:
- cPanel, Route 53 (AWS), Cloudflare
Bonus Skills:
* HubSpot CRM experience
* Coding webhooks via Zapier
* Experience developing mobile apps including Flutter
* Integration of multiple systems via REST API's and Zapier
