Position Description: Program Managers plan, control and execute a program or set of related projects to meet identified business needs and deliver business value. As Program Manager, you will lead a large program of high complexity, earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders, resolves conflicts, update relevant business stakeholders of project status, and deliver tough messages with grace. Your future duties and responsibilities: The Program Manager (PM) will work closely with Government COR and CO to ensure supervision of Contractor employees is provided by the Contractor. The PM will be responsible for executing the following duties: . Overseeing and supervising the work distribution to employees. . Managing the performance of the work for assigned tasks and associated deliverables. . Developing contract status reports and providing write-ups on tasks that are late or other issues/risks identified in the status update. . Providing answers in writing to project management questions/issues raised during the execution of tasks. . Providing suggestions to improve Government software development methodologies. . Remaining available during normal business hours to meet with Government personnel (designated by the CO) to discuss any problem areas. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: The PM must possess experience in managing an Operations and Maintenance (O&M), application development, enhancement, operations, and program management of large complex Federal Government web-based systems. Desired skills and/or credentials for the PM are as follows: . Agile Scrum Experience and Certification: Candidate must have a certification in agile methodology. . PMP or PgMP Certification: Candidate must have a current PMP or PgMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). . Technical Background: Possess a deep technical background in IT programs that contain multiple subsystems, special focus must be given to the integration management processes and the release and build management processes to be used throughout the project's lifecycle. . Communications Skills: Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in presenting material to senior Government officials. . Staff Management Skills: Experience with the management, workforce utilization, and supervision of employees of various labor categories and skills in program teams of 50 to 100 FTEs including subcontractors. The PM must be able to clearly define and maintain a culture of accountability. Desired qualifications . Experience with Oracle technologies, including ADF, Forms and Reports, and APEX .
