Oversee production of feed products to ensure efficient production according to schedule
Monitor and minimize shrink in raw materials and finished goods
Oversee receiving of raw materials and delivery of finished goods to ensure correct products are received and loaded in accordance with established procedures.
Perform daily inventory measurements and counts and complete documentation according to established guidelines.
Ensure accurate information is entered into procurement and inventory management systems.
Optimize inventory levels for short and longer term within the warehouse in order to support plant/location operations.
Ensure warehouse operations are align with the policies and procedures.
Oversees all aspects of the preventive maintenance program
Reports and assist with all injuries and investigations
Ensures safety and well-being employees through safety meetings, safety training, safety documentation and continually striving for zero accidents
Enforces and is responsible for all safety procedures and processes necessary to maintain a safe working environment
Provides for good "housekeeping" practices
Responsible for personnel decisions related to performance and disciplinary actions of direct reports.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum one (1) year experience in a supervisory capacity in manufacturing and warehouse operation.
At least two (2) years experience in relevant industry.
Knowledge on production planning and inventory control.
