Position Overview:
As a Production Tracker, you will be responsible for monitoring and documenting the progress of our production process, ensuring the timely completion of production orders, and maintaining accurate records of production activities. Your role will be pivotal in supporting efficient production operations and providing insights for continuous improvement initiatives.
 
Responsibilities:
·      Keep track of the status and progress of production orders, ensuring that they are moving through various stages according to schedule.
·      Record relevant production data, including quantities produced, materials used, machine settings, and any issues encountered during the production process.
·      Create and maintain detailed production logs, reports, and documentation that accurately reflect each production run's activities and outcomes.
·      Collaborate with production supervisors, operators, and other relevant departments to gather information and updates on production activities.
·      Alert management promptly about any potential delays, bottlenecks, or production issues that could impact the overall schedule.
·      Generate regular production reports, summaries, and analyses that offer insights into production efficiency, trends, and potential areas for improvement.
·      Assist in tracking quality control tests, inspections, and adherence to quality standards during production runs.
·      Participate in discussions about process improvements, suggesting ideas to streamline production workflows and enhance efficiency.
·      Enter data accurately into production tracking systems or software, ensuring the reliability of production records.
·      Address any technical issues related to production tracking systems and software, escalating to IT or relevant departments as needed.
·      Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
 
Qualifications:
·      High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree or certification in quality control or a related field is a plus.
·      Previous experience in a production tracking, manufacturing, or inventory management role is advantageous.
·      Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
·      Proficiency in using computer software, including spreadsheets and database applications, for data entry and tracking purposes.
·      Excellent communication skills for interacting with production teams, supervisors, and management.
·      Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret production data and identify trends.
·      Problem-solving abilities to address issues that may arise during production.
·      Time management skills to ensure timely updates and reporting.
·      Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
