Responsibilities:
Plans out schedules and delegates tasks to team members
Manages performance of the production team ensuring that targets are met
Influences team members positively and coaches them accordingly
Monitors production output and checks for compliance with quality and functionality standards
Ensures team members’ strong commitment and adherence to safety
Oversees and schedules maintenance of equipment and tools
Evaluates team members’ performance periodically
Collaborates with other departments in the assessment and improvement of products, designs and processes
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Electronics, Mechatronics)
At least 5 years work experience in similar capacity and environment
Strong leadership and people management skills
Flexible and able to cope with changes well
Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Software/Applications
Preferably has knowledge in project management tools
