The Production Supervisor oversees daily operations in the production area, ensuring that goods are produced efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with quality, safety, and sanitation standards. The role is responsible for managing staff, monitoring production output, and enforcing procedures to maintain consistent product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate production activities including preparation to packing.
Monitor production schedules to meet daily targets and minimize downtime or delays.
Ensure all processes comply with company recipes, quality standards, and food safety regulations.
Lead, train, and evaluate staff
Check product quality, appearance, and consistency before release or dispatch.
Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure cleanliness and readiness of workstations and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of production output, wastage, and ingredient consumption.
Coordinate with Team Leaders
Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation, hygiene, and safety protocols.
Resolve issues related to staff, equipment, or ingredients that affect productivity or product quality.
Qualifications:
Graduate of Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related course; or equivalent work experience in production setting.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role in a commissary set up
Experience with food safety standards such as GMP, HACCP, and sanitation protocols.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, holidays, or weekends.
