JOB DESCRIPTION:
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Review production information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing. This includes, but is not limited to, production schedules, process flows and technical matters.
Must help lead, monitor, and control the whole production lines
Prompt or report any production related issues and concerns to production head
Must act as a line leader and a role model and must discipline the line workers accordingly in the absence of their leaders.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend meeting if needed and prompt the production status based on production schedule
Help monitor daily operation, machines, tools, jigs and materials/consumables needed on each line
Learn to setup the machine and jigs when changing another product model and prepare materials needed
Check if the lot has a special instruction needed and attached and must fully understand the whole instruction applicable before starting the process
Learn to do the preparation, assembly, and confirmation of the first 10 pcs. initial production of every lot
Ensure all employees abide the company regulations and 5S (Sort,Set in order,Shine, Standardize,Sustain)
Responsible to keep line clean and free from any debris and must clear up the remaining parts and fall-off parts or defective parts before running the next lot at all times
Review work instruction or special instruction before assembly started
Re-educate the operators when the process NG happens
Asign work to Line Workers or re-arrange them if in case there are absentees
Train/Monitor the Line Workers on the procedure to asemble products per assigned role for the day
Must fill-in the operation record sheet accurately and machine checklist timely
In case of parts shortage due to lacking issued parts, process error, or part NG, he must fill-up the inventory Adjustment Application Form and state the real reason then inform the Production Manager for approval before going to parts storage for parts withdrawal
Must ensure to plot/change the process SOP on the line based on the current running lot timely and accurately
Ensure that all line workers will follow the standard operating procedure (SOP) at all times
Summarized the final lot summary report and ensure the content is accurate and each lot is properly disposed
Escalate production issues to Production Head as needed
Perform quality check & monitoring of each process from time to time
Perform other duties as needed or assigned
