Planning and organizing production schedules
Assessing project and resource requirements
Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with « internal clients » and managers
Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
Determining quality control standards
Ensure output meets quality standards
Overseeing production processes
Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
Selecting, ordering, and purchasing materials
Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
Approving maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc. (after approval of Senior Consultant PR)
Liaising with buyers and marketing and sales staff
Supervising and managing the work of junior staff
Organizing relevant training sessions.
Will report directly to the top management (Senior Consultant PR)
Must be a graduate of any engineering course, preferably Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical. Licensed Engineer is preferred.
With 3-5 years work experience in a food manufacturing company
Must also be able to handle responsibility and the pressure of meeting deadlines
Must have confidence, technical skills, project management skills, organization and efficiency, leadership and interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, IT and numerical skills, communication skills, and teamworking skills.
