Job Description
Responsible for the execution of planning, organizing, controlling and directing the daily activities of the assigned production section / shift to produce the target volume of products according to the prescribed efficiency rate and quality yield levels in conformance to customer's schedule at a minimum and material cost.
- Coordinate with other support group the execution of manufacturing schedules based on production plan, capacity and budget while ensuring cost of production is properly monitored and controlled using appropriate measures.
Implements controls and procedure in the production in compliance to established quality specifications and Standard Operating Procedures.
▪ Communicates quality criteria with the team for compliance.
▪ Ensures that all updated documents are posted and implemented.
▪ Responsible in assuring that all Engineering Process Instruction like PDTA, MPRB are being implemented.
Participates in closure of 8D, QAR's and other tools related to Quality Issues to ensure that the Corrective and Preventive Actions are implemented in the production.
▪ Responsible for implementing the requirements of Electrostatic Discharge Support (ESD) standards, including establishing, maintaining and verifying the compliance of the program in assigned Segment / Department.
Participates in the review of the firmed order of the customer based on the latest Call-Off data.
▪ Then, check the running production balance with reference to the existing and current wip.
▪ Coordinates the discussion
▪ Maximize the model conversion and balance the work load for each production line ID
▪ Manages the consumption of direct and in-direct material, production output and deliveries.
Reviews the cycle time per operations station together with Industrial Engr.
▪ Participates in calculating of the # of lines needed based on the current firmed order of the customer
▪ Leads and Motivates the team to meet the set goals in meeting Customer demand, Yield, Scrap, Labor Productivity, OEE, 5K/LPA, Environment, Safety & Health, Quality and Cost targets.
Delivers proper dissemination of information from management to operators and vice versa.
▪ Develop and control implementation of new process and improvement to maintain quality and productivity of work Participates in the 5k program and Quality program initiatives.
▪ Paticipates in the HR Program initiatives.
▪ Environmental, Safety and Health Program initiatives.
Identify Training & Certification requirements and request opportunities for development.
▪ Attends to any training assigned to for individual development.
▪ Trains, directs, discipline and evaluates performance of Production Supervisors and/or Assistant Supervisors.
