Supervise production operations of all processes. Inspect routine activites in order to ensure that all standard operating procedures, cGMP and EHS practices are being implemented.
Maintain good housekeeping in all production areas.
Conduct daily shopfloor meetings.
Ensure that production batch documents are prepared accurately and timely. Reviews processed and collated batch documents.
Approves requisitions for raw material requests and return.
Conduct performance review of direct reports. Issues infraction notice to subordinates who may not be complying with company rules and regulations.
Ensure maintenance of production equipment. Prepare or updates preventive maintenance procedures in coordination with the Engineering Department.
Ensures adequate spare parts are available for critical equipment. Monitor and reports equipment for repair to Engineering Department.
Implement validation activities. Prepare and/or reviews validation protocols and reports.
Ensures timely closure of all validation open issues.
Implements improvement programs through Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing concepts in support of the Business Excellence agenda.
Implement and coordinate the implementation of new projects to optimize the process, product and productivity.
Responsible to control the spend budget related to manufacturing.
