Description
Receives production targets from the Production Manager manages delegation of production tasks to the team and ensures proper staffing for all tasks.
Monitors daily productions and quality control performance records, identifying inefficiencies and taking responsive and corrective actions where necessary assisting in all aspects on the production floor.
Works with a team to ensure all materials required for production tasks are available on the production floor in the quantities required for the production plan.
Sets up for each activity according to standard operating procedures.
Coaches team on set up processes and procedures to ensure that SOPs are followed.
Develops and implements strategies and training toward accomplishing organizational goals and values.
Leads by example: Sets expectations for staff and monitors delegated activities.
Build a team that follows company policies and procedures, making sure that standards for honesty, ethical behavior, and integrity are upheld.
Provides regular performance feedback and effective training to staff for skill development and growth.
Coordinates and monitors flow of production orders for the floor; able to forecast work and notice potential problems in workflow
Provides leadership, mentoring, and coaching for manufacturing in areas of safety, quality, service, and cost.
Requirements
Minimum education level: Bachelor ́s Degree
