Immediate Superior: Production Manager or Company President
Position Description:
The Production Supervisor/Food Technologist assists in the supervision of the production of food products and also makes sure the sanitation of the production area. He/She is also responsible for delivering the products with care and quality from the manufacturing place to customers.
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess Bachelor degree on Food Technology, Industrial Engineering or other courses related to food manufacturing
At least 3 years experience in the related field
Has knowledge in production and business or operational settings
Excellent leadership skills in identifying and improving all area concerns including quality, sanitation, efficiency and personnel
Self-motivated
Possess a positive attitude for goal setting, personnel motivation, and creating harmony in work area
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Above average organizational skills
General mathematical knowledge and basic computer skills
Duties and responsibilities:
Prepare a proper schedule of food production for the order which the company got
Allot the manpower accordingly with efficiency of completing the work on time
Prepare a report after the completion of the production work with all necessary documents
Vigilant in forecasting the risk problems before commencing the work
Ensure the safety of the employees
Enforces the policies and procedures concerning food safety
Oversee food processing facilities and procedures
Possess a keen understanding of the industry laws, and consult with the management to address compliance issues and make recommendations to improve processes
Develop training programs related to sanitation law and company best practices
Supervise employees and monitor product quality
Delivers initiatives to employees in one-on-one and group settings
Performs other function and responsibilities, which may be assigned by your superior or Company President
