Job Purpose:
Maintains work flow by monitoring steps in the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and coordinates setup and adjustments of machines to PED
- Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations
- Interprets specifications and job orders to workers, and assigns duties
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
- Recommends measures to improve production method, equipment performance, and quality of product
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of the department
- Analyze and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems
- Initiates or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
- Controls Quality and Yield by Implementing SOP
- Control costs through efficient processing and maximizing resources
- Prepares requisition for needed materials for operation
- Prepares Daily Production Reports and update KPIs on a regular basis
- Leads the group for high productivity and high food safety and quality production
Continuously improves machines and man power capacity and production quality by conducting trials and research.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of any 4 years course, preferably Engineering
- Technical Skills and Prior Experience
- With At least 3 years of related and supervisory working experience in a manufacturing company
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from group of managers, clients, customers.
- Physically fit to work in a food manufacturing plant.
