I. POSITION BRIEF
Production Supervisor is involved in planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes. Supervise the operation of production lines in accordance to target capacity, product quality & material usage efficiency.
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Summary of Key Functions:
1. Supervised & manage the overall operations of production lines treatment process to drying.
2. Cooked baskets output.
3. Plans & initiates actions in order to attain required daily processing capacity
4. Plans & initiates actions in the attainment of required product quality
5. Plans & initiates actions to ensure all processing SOP's & policies in-placed & implemented
6. Material, manpower & energy usage according to targets
7. Provides training, coaches, motivates & monitors subordinate towards desired performance level
8. Guide & enforce strict compliance to GMP, OPRP, CCP, Sanitation & Safety Procedure in work area
9. Collate, checked / verify & submits daily, weekly & monthly production reports
10. Coordinates with other Plant Sections, Maintenance, QC, HR & Warehousing in the attainment of Plant capacity, product quality.
11. Helps process improvement.
12. Performs or maybe assigned jobs other than that of Production Supervisor.
III. ESSENTIAL PROCESSES
1. Good Housekeeping and Waste Management
- Maintains cleanliness of production floor.
- Implements waste management and coordinate with the Admin Personnel regarding proper disposal.
2. Production Process and Production Targets
- Implement all procedures and SOP's to ensure that quality are met and no rejections in terms of quality by failing to implement the proper procedure and work instructions.
- Ensure that the capacities are met to be able to attain the manufacturing cost target.
3. Monitoring and Documentations
- Ensures that all records are accurate and properly filled up on each process step.
IV. FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES
1. Leadership
- Lead the team in complying both quality and capacity target.
- Responds positively to critical feedbacks.
- Provides training to subordinates when necessary.
V. QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
- With 4 years work experience in food manufacturing
- With at least 2 years experience in supervisory level
- Knowledgeable with Food Safety, ISO, cGMP, HACCP and Halal
- Positive work attitude and Leadership Skill
- Willing to work in Carmona, Cavite
