Job Description
• Ensures that biosecurity protocols are complied with
• Conducts proper monitoring of health condition by doing daily rounds
• Initiates prompt identification and medication of sick animals
• Diagnoses disease or any abnormal conditions through physical and behavioral observation as basis for proper treatment
• Monitors the mortality and morbidity rate of all departments being supervised and collects data of established facts
• Oversees vaccination based on protocol
• Monitors the proper implementation of Standard Operating Procedure in Farrowing or Wean to Finish
• Performs the planning of working schedule for subordinates to sustain manpower requirement
• Consults and coordinates with the Farm Manager of matters that needs to be addressed in the specific area of responsibility
• Performs other functions as may be required on a temporary basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
• A graduate of Agriculture, Animal Science or related fields
• With at least 2 years of experience in a swine farm
• Able to stay-in the farm premises at Pinamungajan, Cebu
• High adaptability and problem solving skills
