Job Description Summary: Responsible for managing the Production Planning team of his/her assigned production cell or area and tasked to establish weekly production plan targets and translate this into a daily production plan schedule. Drive OEE improvement through linear loading and focuses on balancing dedicated and semi-dedicated set-ups and ensuring continuous flow or WIP. Job Description: Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to: Works in WLP, Modules Assembly and Materials Planning ( raw materials and handler spares parts) Responsible in making sure that there will be enough supply for production both WIP and raw materials Monitors Production Planning performance and gives necessary and timely feedback as often as possible Works with production, support group, purchasing and supplier in any issue that may impact delivery performance. Establish Key Performance Metric for Planners to ensure continuous improvement and achieved service level satisfaction. Conducts training for any new planning procedure or any new process that involves planning Reports to Senior level Management on a weekly basis regarding performance and critical issues in the assigned area Initiates Process improvement projects and delegate amongst team members Works with SCM counterpart for forecast review, production plan loading and priorities Manage spares for handlers and contact sockets used by Final Test Area Conduct weekly meeting alignment with direct reports and follow through actions for any outstanding issues Conduct periodic performance review with direct reports and initiate improvement plan and career progression plan Present budget proposal to top management before the start of new quarters and report weekly spending and outstanding budget Escalate pertinent issues that needs top management decision and give information to all stakeholders Ensures that individual metrics are supported and met through effective collaboration between Operations and support groups. Ensure progress by monitoring performance through reports and analysis Supervise, formulate systems and lead Production Planning team to ensure processes and output are within specified level of quality Supervise, influence, coach and monitor Subordinates' performance and institute necessary actions to maintain and upgrade performance. Responsible in providing heads-up, escalations and information to MPOC management regarding the team's performance, critical issues and necessary actions that needs their attention and support Motivates and ensures team's work progress by monitoring and controlling personal activities through performance measurement and evaluation, enforcement of discipline, personnel counseling and development. Performs other function as may be assigned from time to time by superiors. Requirements: Graduate of bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering. MBA or MSIE degree, or PIEE accredited is an added factor. Must have a minimum of 6 years' engineering work experience in the electronics and semiconductor industry. Excellent customer service skills Flexible, organized and has attention to details. Knowledgeable in MS Office Applications, particularly MS Excel.
