Job Overview
Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, coordinating, and/or final approval of products through the complete production cycle. Works from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Provides input to management and interfaces with customers, marketing, sales and production. Consults with engineering to create new product supply road maps, resolve labor and material shortages, and manage backlog and other potential schedule interruptions. Requires experience in planning, coordinating, and scheduling production operations.
As an Operations Planner, you will be focused on accomplishing the following:
Planning, scheduling, coordinating products through complete production flow
Provides daily starts plan to feed manufacturing line
Employs SAP as a tool to validate and analyze wafer/chips and BOM inventories
Conducts cross-functional reviews of WIP queue to ensure bottleneck resources and log-points are at acceptable stock levels
Communicates and tracks on-time completion of requirements and other related matters with operations teams and other support groups
Performs other related task
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering
2-years experience on current Engineering or Manufacturing position
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with business partners, management and support groups
Proficient in MS applications
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on and independent with strong analytical, planning, organizing and leadership skills
Passion for deep-dive data analyses and translating that into insights and recommendations
Proactive, fast learner, curious, strong work ethics, self-motivated, seeks to improve processes, multi-tasking and performance driven
With sense of urgency, willing to work on complex schedule and render overtime
