PRODUCTION PLANNER
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Production Planner at SAWO, you will be responsible for developing production plans, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring the efficient allocation of resources to meet production goals.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize workflow, meet shipment target dates and customer demand.
Resource Allocation: Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
Capacity Planning: Monitor production capacity and make recommendations for process improvements to meet demand.
Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to minimize stock outs and excess inventory.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to communicate production plans and address any challenges that may impact schedules.
Data Analysis: Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed decisions to improve planning efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven at least 1 year experience as a Production Planner in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and inventory management.
Proficiency in using planning and ERP software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in planning.
