GF Micro Optics Philippines, Inc., serves as the main manufacturing facility of its mother global photonics company in the United States of America. It manufactures components, devices, and materials for optoelectronics and telecommunication applications.
We are currently in need of additional proactive talents for our Customer Order and Supply Management Department.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Graduate of BS Industrial Engineering / BS Customs Administration / BS Operations Management / BS Applied Mathematics or any allied-course
- Must have at work experience either in Purchasing / Production Planning / Materials Control / Import-Export / Inventory Management
- Has worked in manufacturing industry is plus
- Knowledgeable in PEZA and BOC requirements is a plus
- Must be knowledgeable in windows-based software such as MS Office
- Willing to work onsite in Laguna Technopark, Biñan City, Laguna
SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Upon assessment, successful candidates may be profiled in either sections of GFP's Customer Order and Supply Management Department.
1. Supply Chain Management
- Focuses on all aspects of interaction that the company has, with an existing and/or prospective local customer, whether it is service or sales-related matter.
- Coordinates with internal people specifically for planning, inventory and logistics matters.
- Coordinates with the internal customers, suppliers, service contractors and affiliates pertaining to all local and imported purchases of materials, parts or other requirements of the company.
- Perform duties in accordance with documented procedures and work instructions.
2. Production Planning & Materials Control
- Order Taking and Processing. Receives and reviews orders, manages delivery schedule efficiently, and provides regular feedbacks to customers
- Capacity Planning and Production Scheduling. Prepares schedule of production operations and endure that products are made timely
- Material Planning and Procurement Arranging. Determines quantity and type of materials required for all product types
3. Import-Export
-Processes, organizes related items which are required for ImpEx processing for daily operations.
4. Inventory Management
- Maintains inventory management security standards, policies and procedures, and supports the company operations as a whole.
- Takes initiative to enhance the current inventory management methods to improve inventory management procedures and system.

Minimum education level: Bachelor ́s Degree
2 years of experience
