Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing/production operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production processes, maintain high-quality standards, manage resources effectively, and lead a team to meet production goals.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to ensure timely delivery of products.
Manage production schedules, staffing, and resource allocation.
Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize production efficiency.
Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing production team.
Prepare production reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Maintain equipment and ensure proper maintenance schedules are followed.
Act as coordinator of the company wide QIP programs.
Perform other functions/tasks as may be assigned by management provided the need and relevant training are given.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Management/Operations Management, or related field.
Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in production management, preferably in manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement certifications.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
