Description
Job requirement
•Plan and schedule production resources to meet internal committed deliveries.
•Monitor production cutting status with regards to quality and on-time in full delivery
•Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability
•Drive reduction in setup times, cycle times and process improvement
•Develop an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible production team by building working relationships and providing technical expertise
•Ensure efficient supervision, continuous improvement and modern cutting and manufacturing principles by highlighting deficiencies and implement changes in training, working practices and processes
•Stay on top of any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials. Recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimizing cost.
•Develop and maintain strong and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
•Manage the team using standard processes and reporting. Set department objectives /KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports
Educ/skill requirement
•Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Engineering
•At least ten (10) years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
•Excellent leadership, interpersonal, people management and training skills
•Excellent ability in production scheduling, monitoring and reporting
•Keen to details. Ability to detect non-conformances and enforce corrections
•Technical understanding especially for customized production including their finishing
•Critical thinker and problem solver, good communicator, team worker, collaborative approach to others
