Description
Position: Production Team Leader
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Perform basic setup, operation, cleanup, for each line equipment.
2.Maintain production lines in operation by solving production process issues, making equipment adjustments, or referring questions to the Production Supervisor.
3.Document and report all production and quality information and decisions made.
4.Oversee the overall product quality, processing, packaging requirements and quantity .
5.Provide leadership to team members through example and sharing of knowledge and skills.
Motivate and encourage team members to attain production and team goals.
6.Provide on-the-job training to new team members.
7.Ensure that team members follow the food industry rules, standards and regulations.
8.Demonstrate a production floor presence, ensuring actions continually reinforce performance, teamwork and quality as core values.
9.Ensure satisfactory levels of performance for the production team related to safety, quality, continuous improvement and productivity.
10.Act as a backup for Production Supervisors when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
