Description * JOB SUMMARY
The Production Head is responsible in assisting the Manager in planning, organizing, controlling and directing the daily activities of the line to produce the desired volume of product according to the prescribed efficiency rate and quality/yield levels, in conformance to customer's schedule at minimum manpower and material loss.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plans, leads, organizes, and controls the activities of production, engineering, and production planning and control personnel in order to assure high quality, low cost, and delivered on time world class products.
2. Assures smooth production flow especially on important check points from the start to end of production.
3. Monitors daily performance of production, reviews and recommends new tooling, proper use of test and other equipment and all other support facilities in the line.
4. Provides plans for the materialization of all production demands.
5.Scheduling of work priorities of herself, her subordinates and the whole production line.
6.Planning for the best use of manpower, equipment, time, and space to meet deadlines and customer demands.
7.Improving of material consumption in order to meet the required material efficiency standard
8.Implements and monitors the progress of all plans, sees to it that her section is operating at maximum yield and minimum loss and informs the Operations Manager in any changes.
9.Checks if all stations under her responsibility are meeting the required output in accordance to productivity and quality standards for the purpose of meeting delivery requirements.
10.Conducts routinary and emergency meetings with Production Supervisors and other staff on improvement of skills and knowledge especially those related to product quality and reliability. Also responsible for relaying information's regarding company policies and minutes of the meeting concerning operations.
11.Oversees schedule of inventory of material and requirement in the line.
12.Conducts meetings with staff to review line performance against productivity, quality, material usage, manpower, and process standards.
13.Develops the knowledge, skills values and attitudes of her subordinates, constantly monitors their progress and informs them of how they are doing on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
14.Checks requisition of all necessary materials and parts needed by production
15.Check and countersigns Daily Production Report and forwards to PPC.
16.Acts as conduit of information from top management to rank and file and vice versa.
17.Controls materials requisitions and job orders to keep them to a minimum
Qualifications:
College graduate preferably in Engineering with Management background. Equivalent of at least three (3) years in a supervisory position in electronics operations for non-college graduates.

6. Knowledgeable in Basic Computer office applications.
7. Flexible. (Can work multi-tasking activities)
*3-5 years technical experience in electronics assembly plant, with an equal length of experience in handling people on a Managerial or at least Supervisory Level.
