Roles and Responsibilities
- Read, interpret plans and check for discrepancies
- Report all Discrepancies to Drafting for amendment to be completed
- Evaluate tender documentation and manage tender process
- Request and Review Quotes from Suppliers and Trades on each project
- Perform Accurate take offs on all projects within Strict Deadlines
- Identifying new and efficient Processes for completing accurate Take-offs
- New Design Pricing and Cost comparisons
- Supplier and Trade Rate Comparisons
- Issue purchase orders
- Issue Plans, Colours and Fixtures Schedules for each job
- Investigate discrepancies with PO's and invoices
- Maintain company pricebook
- Full Material and Cost Control for all projects
- Reporting and post contract analysis
- Site visits when required
- Communicate with Supervisors to identify shortages, over orders and manage accordingly
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Engineering/Architecture

- Must Be able to adapt to changing Regulations and building Codes
- Have intermediate knowledge of the building and construction processes
- Strong in all forms of communication with Colleagues
- Effective Negotiating Skills
- Can work efficiently and meet required deadlines
