Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s): Time and Motion study and analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Engineering standards and practices, Knowledge of production processes and machinery, Written and oral communication skills, Interpersonal skills, Knowledge in 5S (System of Good Housekeeping), Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook and PowerPoint
Preferably Supervisor/5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employee specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
Duties & Responsibilities :
1. Conducts time & motion study and analysis to improve line efficiencies, reduce downtime, and outages.
2. Evaluates current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.
3. Investigates problems, analyze root causes and derive resolutions.
4. Develops process improvements to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximize production.
5. Works closely with Production Supervisors and Equipment Operators to solve problems with machinery.
6. Plans and coordinate production engineering processes to produce high quality products.
7. Create computer simulations to model different ways in which production can occur
8. Develops operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectives.
9. Develops operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities.
10. Develops best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.
11. Coordinates with Safety Officer to identify unsafe operations and practices and report the same to
Production Superintendent immediately.
12. Provides engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
13. Provides training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals.
14. Stays current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes.
15. Ensures production project deadlines are met
16. Performs other tasks as may be required by immediate superior.
