Job Description
Monitor plastics or injection-mold fabrication processes.
Work directly w/ plant leadership to develop & execute projects involving continuous improvement, upgrades & the resolution of re-occurring problems.
Analyze manufacturing data & suggest improvements. Ensure quality output of molded components & correct flaws.
Develop & design engineered plastic parts, insert molded parts & assemblies.
Establish the parameters for an optimal molding environment. Review existing validation reports.
Analyze moldflow, part advisor analysis, finite element analysis & stress/fatigue analysis on plastics.
Prepare mold-filling simulations. Create water diagrams & hot runner wiring schematics.
Ensure that new molds are efficient, capable & maintainable for long term production.
Resolve production issues as they occur.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic); Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
With thorough knowledge of mold design, solidworks, AutoCAD
Experience with Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFEMA) & with Production Part Approval Process (PPAPs).
