The (Sr.) Product Specialist is responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities within established and new accounts in a geographically dispersed territory. Additionally, the success of this role will largely depend on your ability to empower and add value to product, applications, and execution of marketing strategies. You will deliver product expertise, targeting, segmentation strategy to customers and develop show site strategy and KOL for Philippines.
Increase ASP's product footprint in assigned territory in a manner consistent with company goals
Establish relationships with new and targeted existing customers and identify solutions to meet customer needs through consultative selling process
Provide customers with the appropriate solutions, marketing collateral, and clinical information to obtain customer commitment to purchase ASP products and Maintain up to date market and competitor knowledge related to their products/solutions/services
Develop new potential customers, primarily via Capital equipment placements while developing customer champions for ASP technologies
Ensure seamless teamwork with functional team such as Regulatory Affairs (RA), Quality Control (QA), Compliance, Order management team, service engineers and other back office team and remove key hurdles to drive on time delivery
Provide product demonstration, training presentations and in-servicing based upon Customer's needs.
Leverage Salesforce.com to provide timely and current information on customers within your territory; routinely update Sales funnel, forecast and action plans for Monthly and Quarterly Reviews plans and forecasts for Territory Quarterly Reviews and Business Plans to facilitate the purchase of ASP products and services.
Establish and maintain optimum account call frequencies which lead to better relationships with the customer, better understanding of the customer's business and needs, and the accomplishment of the sales quota.
Analyze territory capital, consumable, and service sales potential to develop sales execution plans that maximizes sales at or more than the company plan
Continually acquire, maintain, and expand personal understanding of features, benefits, applications, and market conditions, which enhance the needs for our current and future products
Participate in local Chapters or other relevant organizations including regional level buying groups. Develop relationships and partnership with related society and academic societies, including local Chapters
Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred; 5 years of sales experience will be considered in lieu of degree
1-2 years of experience prospecting for new business and cold-calling or 3+ years sales and/or call center experience; equivalent training and certification will be considered
Experience with medical sales, capital equipment is a plus
Experience selling to hospitals and ASC's is a plus
Sterilization experience is a plus

Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
Knowledge of the medical supplies/device business and healthcare environment a plus
Display kindness and be open to providing scheduling accommodations to customers, clients, or staff
High energy level and initiative
Demonstrated ability to conduct product demonstrations and trainings to healthcare professional
