Our client is a well-established brand in the Renewable Energy Semiconductor Manufacturing Industry, they have access to over 1,000 patents and two best-in-class differentiated solar panel product lines and they are now looking for a passionate and driven Product Specialist, BTP to join their team.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
Responsible for solutions and technology marketing activities designed to increase sales growth and expand market share. Uses technical expertise and extensive industry experience to formulate product strategies and identify new product opportunities. Analyze markets to determine opportunities. Ensures offerings are defined to obtain maximum profitability. Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and objectives. Evaluates and adjust strategies to respond to changing and/or competitive markets. Identifies and communicates customer value proposition and maintains relationships with sales, product partners, and the channel. Contributes to product development teams. Maintains relationships with and represents customer requirements during the development process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will handle the creation of part numbers for ROW and EMEA. Ensure those ones are uploaded to the database (e.g. Arena, Oracle). Ensure Bill of Material (BOM) is validated and aligned with product specification /requirement Initiate internal request and approval processes related to components management in production tools (e.g. Engineering Change Request ...).
Work with Product Line Managers and Supply Chain in managing the product's life cycle (Pre and Post Launch).
Will handle product documentation (e.g. in SharePoint DMS).
On-site Product Management support to respond to product-specific inquiries and possible issues (1st level support).
Will interact regularly with stakeholders and cross-functional teams for alignment of BTP, product-related activities, and projects (Collaterals, Manuals, PCNs, PANs, etc.).
Back up to Module Products part number maintenance.
Support Projects for BTP products and process improvements.
RELATED EXPERIENCES, MINIMUM AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A degree in Business Management/Administration, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in New Product Introduction, Product management.
Proficiency in MS Office suite; Advanced Excel skills.
Preferably has a background in the solar industry.
Preferably has a background in high-volume manufacturing.
OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION:
Good communication skills both written and verbal, strong analytical skills & detail-oriented.
Ability to work & communicate in a team environment.
Experience in working/collaborating with subject matter experts/other cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe, etc.
