• Work Remotely
• Client: CEO Daniel Wang (Company: MSPbots)
• Work Hours and Schedule: Semi-flexible, 8 am-5 pm CST (10 pm-7 am PHT), Fixed rest days (Sat-Sun)
• Work Duration: Long-term
• Starting compensation will be $5 per hour, with the potential for a raise with tenure
Job Description:
As a Product Owner, your role is to gather feature requests, schedule releases, and coordinate sprints. You should be able to identify user needs, help a customer understand a business value, and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases. The work hours and schedule for this post preferably would be from 8 am-5 pm CST (10 pm-7 am PHT), Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements
Incorporating feature requests into product roadmap
Grooming and prioritizing backlog
Developing user stories and defining acceptance criteria
Set sprint goals
Write acceptance tests
Plan releases and upgrades
Follow progress of work and address production issues during sprints
Analyze preferences and requests of end users
Refine company’s agile methodology based on results and client feedback
Keep track of industry trends
Job Requirements:
At least 3 years working experience as an IT Helpdesk/Technical Lead in an MSP account/business
2-4 years of product or project development experience and launching software and services
Understands how to meet client SLAs and what this means to the business
Knowledge and experience on IT Tech dispatching
Has good working knowledge on using Autotask as the primary tool for ticket management and has used it heavily for at least 2 years
Familiar with reporting and dashboard tools
Familiarity with ITIL used to understand how MSPs work is a bonus
Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies
In-depth knowledge and proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, and Agile principles
Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen
Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Excellent attention and accuracy to details
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Willing to work outside of agreed scheduled office hours to attend on meetings/huddles
