DIRECTLY REPORTS TO: Lead Product Manager MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY: The primary responsibility of the Product Manager is to own specific services and/or Workflow Automation apps within Sprout's Core Products. The role requires the individual to manage the planning and execution throughout the product life cycle, including gathering and prioritizing requirements, working with Product Leaders to define the product vision, and working closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support to ensure goals are met. This person is expected to be a hands-on builder, subject matter expert and will be instrumental in realizing Sprout's vision of an expanded SaaS Ecosystem through enhancing Sprout Core's capabilities and building new products that aims to solve more pain points in the Employee Lifecycle Management. TASKS: Work with the Lead Product Manager in identifying new Product Features and take over the Product Delivery execution part until launch. Manage assigned Core Products through the product development life-cycle using Agile Scrum methodology. If needed, build integrations with partner products and maintain relationships with the said partners even after initial post-launch in collaboration with Product Operations Manager. Collaborate with key stakeholders in creating feature specifications out of business requirements, prioritize features, author user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborate with scrum team members to ensure product features are delivered according to specifications. Maximize the value delivered by the assigned Scrum Team in the Engineering Team. Build and maintain an effective and groomed backlog providing clear requirements for new initiatives and enhancements. Work closely with the Product Design & UX team to bring engaging user experiences to life. Take a hands-on approach to operational monitoring and product launch activities together with other cross functional departments. Analyze the impact, usage, and adoption of features and improvements to confirm they had the right effect on the business, and if not, make corrective actions to ensure it meets the required success criteria. Continuously advocate for best practices in implementing API as a Product within Sprout's Core Services. QUALIFICATIONS | COMPETENCIES: At least six years of work experience, with at least two years of product management experience. Experience in a startup environment or with SaaS products would be a bonus Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or related field is preferred Experienced in building B2B or B2C Software products. Experience in developing APIs and/or building products reliant on third-party APIs is a mandatory requirement. Familiarity with SaaS metrics related to product and growth Experience in building and maintaining partnerships Expert in product management methodologies and tools such as agile, scrum and JIRA Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Adept at communicating with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams. Able to engage stakeholders and manage their expectations. Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask and to prioritize tasks effectively. A good analytical and critical thinking mindset with good attention to details and a problem-solving approach. Capable of performing qualitative and quantitative analysis. Outcome driven mindset is a must. Individuals with an entrepreneurial bent of mind would be a great fit.
