Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for three (3) Product Development Engineers to join our Vehicle & Product Development Department based in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, Philippines.
The Product Development Engineers are members of the Conversion group that handles the new model project preparation.
In this role, you are expected to be a domain expert in technical analysis, plant layout planning, process planning and project management.
Product Development Engineer Opportunities:

Your role and responsibilities:
Handles project planning, project engineering and project schedule
Creates and plans plant lay out and set-up, re-layout strategies and coordination
Perform data gathering, analysis, documentations, and process planning
Study parts change point and new specification
Prepares schedule of all required activities of the assigned project
Execute project activities based on plan and timely manner
Design pallets, rack and other equipment and monitor completion of fabrication
Regular updating and revision of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual
Budget management, control of operating expenses

You have a bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.

Skills required:
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Basic knowledge in CAD Software (AutoCAD, CATIA, Inventor)
Has a know-how in part quality inspection
Basic understanding on machining & fabrication method
Has design skills (material selection, technical drawing and analysis)
Highly organized, detail oriented
High analytical skills
Tenacious team player
Relevant experiences:
Project management, project engineering
Experience in auto & body builder production is an advantage
Basic knowledge and understanding on either of the following:
Automotive assembly & logistics process (parts & component assembly, warehousing, delivery, scheduling)
Automotive Painting process (pre-treatment, paint oven/baking, spray painting)
Automotive Welding process (spot, mig, tig, accuracy measurement)
