- Develop product ideas based on customer and industry audience interests and needs.
- Identify customer problems and create functional prototypes offering a solution.
- Coordinate prototype submissions with relevant personnel for approval.
- Perform market analysis on competing products and brands.
- Analyze market and industry trends and conditions.
- Analyze feasibility, cost, and return on investment for product ideas.
- Lead product development from concept to release
- Develop and manage design verification test plans.
- Assist design engineers with applications engineering and testing.
- Support Sales, Marketing and Service teams with technical queries.
- Support supplier visits by providing technical requirements input.
- Be hands-on with product development when required.
- Provide support to the current product portfolio through management of Engineering Change Requests.
- Other tasks maybe assigned from time to time.
