JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides technical assistance in developing quality products and materials that meet intended specifications.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Validates existing raw materials from alternative suppliers through product stability and compatibility studies.
Performs physical and chemical analyses of raw material using current pharmacopeias, established material specification, associated wet chemistry, and instrumental techniques as appropriate.
Assists in continuous improvement of packaging materials through cost and cycle time optimization.
Help develop working prototypes of new products that meet intended specifications and ensure quality and integrity using stability and compatibility testing, sensorial evaluation, safety, and efficacy testing.
Practices proper document management through systematic filing and updating Research Institute File.
Generate analytical reports to reflect overall performance.
JOB QUALIFICATION
EDUCATION & TRAINING: BS Chemistry, BS Chemical Engineering, BS Pharmacy or any other allied courses, PRC License in and advantage.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: At least one year of experience in product development from a cosmetic or pharmaceutical company. Preferably with experience in production processes.
SKILL/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Can work with minimal supervision
Good working knowledge of specialty chemicals and actives
Computer literate
Can start asap
Can work at Makati
