Position Title: Product Designer
Salary: 30,000 - 50,000 PHP monthly
Reports To: Client, Client Advisor
Primary Relationship: Client Team
Date: May 2023
Schedule: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM PHT
Responsibilities:
Meet with architects, designers, and engineers to discuss design ideas
Take rough conceptual designs and create models using required software
Modify models as necessary based on feedback and specifications
Run thermal, air flow, and lighting simulations to validate design concepts
Create photo-realistic 3D renderings and animations
Develop product designs from scratch, ensuring compliance with safety and structural standards
Present rough design drafts for client approval
Generate solid and surface CAD models using AutoCAD software
Blend technique and aesthetics to create final designs
Present various design perspectives for construction improvements and adaptations
Finalize AutoCAD models and present them to clients
Complete job reports documenting design processes and progress
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or architectural studies
Previous work experience as an AutoCAD drafter
Previous experience in site planning
Experience in 3D and photo-realistic renderings
Advanced knowledge of CAD and AutoCAD software
Familiarity with state safety and structural regulations
Self-motivated with excellent English communication skills
Interest and experience in outdoor and indoor living and landscapes
Experience in low voltage electrical, lighting, or audio is desirable
Highly technical, efficient, creative, and organized
Experience using Adobe Photoshop
Experience using Bluebeam and Solidworks is a plus
Excellent technical design skills
Good communication skills
Keen eye for aesthetics and detail
Ability to project manage effectively
