We are looking for Procurement Staff who will play a crucial role in sourcing, negotiating, and managing the acquisition of goods and services. The ideal candidates will possess strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a commitment to ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement processes.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform procurement and sourcing activities through the use of any application systems that conforms with the organization and customer specifications to achieve the production/support plan forecast
Ensure that the incoming/purchased materials/equipment have undergone quality check from appropriate departments and authorized personnel to validate quality specification in accordance to the standard and specification
Determine qualified supplier from the canvasser to initiate request for quotation and coordination with the end user for decision making before placing any purchase order
Negotiate with the selected suppliers and identify opportunities to aid cost effective, efficient and high quality alternatives and come up with a solution to issues that may arise
Coordinate with the selected supplier to ensure completion of administrative and contract management processes and to enhance business outcomes through effective supplier relationships
Responsible in ensuring that the production and delivery plan adhere to the customer's requirements to achieve specific goals and targets in a timely manner
