Requirements
Procurement Experience: Experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or construction setting.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the manufacturing process of tennis balls or related products could be beneficial.
Supplier Relationships: Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
Sourcing Skills: Proficiency in sourcing and selecting reliable suppliers that meet quality and cost requirements.
Project Management: Skills in managing procurement projects, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring materials are available as needed.
Analytical Abilities: Capacity to analyze market trends, pricing, and supply availability to make informed procurement decisions.
Communication: Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams, stakeholders, and external suppliers effectively.
Attention to Detail: Being meticulous in checking specifications and ensuring purchased materials meet quality standards.
Problem Solving: Ability to address unexpected procurement challenges and find creative solutions.
Negotiation Skills: Proficient negotiation abilities to secure favorable terms, prices, and conditions with suppliers.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of the technical aspects of materials and equipment used in factory construction.
Time Management: Efficiently managing procurement timelines and deadlines to keep the project on track.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in using procurement software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools.
