Job Summary
Strategize to find cost-effective deals and suppliers
Job Responsibilities
Handle new and existing suppliers account
Maintain a solid and long-lasting business relationship with suppliers
Place reorders of an existing product line when needed.
Negotiate price, order quantities, production time, and payment terms.
Monitor all ongoing productions and make sure everything will finish smoothly according to plan.
Be able to communicate and resolve minor suppliers' issues effectively.
Maintain an accurate data tracker using Google Drive, Excel Sheet, and other software
Ensure timeliness and accuracy of work prior to submission.
Ensure confidentiality of data and company information.
Provide superior with regular feedback on the status of ongoing tasks and discuss other relevant concerns.
Perform other related duties as required.
Comply with the Company Policies.
Comply with the Company and Department's approved/existing work procedures and guidelines.
Job Qualifications
BS Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering, or any related course
At least 2 years of proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role
100% data handling accuracy
Extremely reliable
Good English communication skills - someone who can express himself/herself very well - background in BPO is an advantage
Someone who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and someone who learns fast
Works well under pressure
A team player
Must be comfortable on a daily video meeting especially during the probationary period.
Must be comfortable in receiving feedback / constructive criticism
Someone who has a can-do attitude and focuses more on providing solutions.
Can work without supervision.
Experience in the supply chain or relevant field is not necessary as hands-on training will be given.
