Procurement Project Engineer
Qualifications:
• Engineering Graduate (IE, ECE, EE, ME) or Bachelor's Degree holder in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management or Electronics
• At least 2 years related experience
• Strong experience in materials and supply chain management particularly in BOM cost management, knowledgeable on electronics parts
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills - able to manage complex data
• Effectively communicates to internal and external groups, make recommendations and lead change, including but not limited to Procurement, Supply Chain Management
• With initiative and commitment next to flexibility and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Financial acumen of P&L management
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Background in a semiconductor/EMS company is a plus
Specification
To provide a professional and seasoned/matured leadership on project and commodity management for procurement, in-depth insight on customer's procurement requirement, acting as direct contact/channel to customer covering procurement related issues/activities during project life cycle and to have a streamlined communication between global and site procurement and business holders; to achieve and maximize target material profitability margin through improved BOM Cost Management, Purchase Price Variance (PPV), continuous identification of cost reduction (internal or external) related to materials and improved customer satisfaction (focus on customer's interest and meeting customer expectation in order to retain IMI as preferred vendor) ​
