PROCUREMENT OPERATIONS ANALYST
Support to procure through the use of professional purchasing practices and techniques and ensure parts/services/good availability (PR/IGS) while maintaining overall cost (and inventory, depending on allocation) at the lowest level and highest quality.
Maintain daily contact with suppliers.
Ensure supplier quality and on-time delivery
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Excellence & Performance - 50%
Support order and claim management processes for projects and operations within scope
Provide report/statistics on commodities/vendors as required by management
Fully utilize the current ERP-based production management computer system
Prepare and issue request for quotation bid packages, identify suppliers, negotiate, place and manage purchase orders for low volume assigned commodities and services, as necessary
Satisfy Division internal and external customers and protect project interests through proper and timely handling and/or disposition of all relevant material requests
Leverage Management and BT Procurement capabilities when dealing with suppliers
Stakeholder relationship management- 20%
Resolve customer queries and escalations related to scope
Ensure that escalations and queries are resolved and followed through in an efficient and professional manner
Align GPC action with customer requirements and expectations
Processes/Tools/Knowledge Management - 20%
Act as Subject Matter Expert
Facilitates training whenever required
Ensure process documentation is up-to-date
Continuous improvement 10%
Support and drive process improvement through identifying and implementing improvement ideas that drive efficiency and increase quality of deliverables
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Engineering or Finance.
At least 2 years work experience either in Procurement, Finance or Project Management.
Intermediate level in Microsoft Office Applications, E-mail application, Working knowledge in ERP systems, eProcurement tools, Web-Browser.
Solid Communication and Presentation skills in English, Continuous Improvement Mindset.
Relevant working experience in SAP or equivalent ERP is an advantage.
Project Management experience / Lean/Six Sigma certification an advantage.
3PM - 12AM work shift and must be flexible.
