Immediate Head: Technical Manager
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or its equivalent with at least 1-3 years of procurement-related experience.      
Experience in Ship Management background from shared service, and international business environment is an advantage.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools and Adobe Acrobat.
Good communication skills in a multicultural environment.
Must be willing to work on a flexible work schedule.
Responsibilities:
Ensures that all purchase requisition is acknowledged.
Monitors purchase requisitions for the Engine department.
Sources out suppliers and gathers quotations as per vessel Engine requisitions (PR).
Assists in providing information to the Technical group and within its fleet with regard to the technical support needed.
Forwards PO's and other support documents such as delivery receipts & invoices to the Accounting department to process payment and their records.
Responsible for the accreditation and evaluation of suppliers.
Updates and monitors supplier's performance annually.
Works closely with the Technical team to set possible business developments for the company. This includes negotiation for the price, quality, and technical sourcing.
Conducts systems and quality audits to ensure proper procedures comply with company SMS and are properly recorded.
Makes or processes Purchase Orders to the winning supplier/contractor based on the canvass sheet/quote with the lowest reasonable price and passes the standard quality requirement.
Submits Weekly Report for the vessels' cost monitoring update.
Submits Weekly Report for the Engine Outstanding requisitions status.
Conducts annual verification of vessel assets. 
Performs other assigned tasks as instructed by the Immediate Head.
