Duties and Responsibilities:
Issue, implement and manage Purchase Orders (POs) awarded to suppliers with the goal of achieving cost-effective and timely delivery in compliance with the requirements of the project.
Review of all purchase slips (PRS) as to the completeness of specifications, authorization required, and due verification of stocks and alternative options for sourcing.
Familiarize with foreign purchase materials and government laws
Ensure low and reasonable cost and quality conformance of the materials based on actual specifications
Maintains and updates procurement records, inventory, and monitoring
Responsible for transmitting and monitoring all purchased items
Canvassing of items and negotiating with existing and future suppliers.
Monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing needs
Researching potential vendors
Tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery
Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (preferred), Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related disciplines.
Preferably with work experience purchasing construction supplies and tools.
Honest, disciplined, organized, and has a positive and mature outlook.
Has the ability to work under pressure.
Highly trustworthy and can with minimum supervision.
Detail-oriented and accurate in the recording of information;
Can under pressure & overtime;
Excellent written and oral English communication skills;
And has Good Interpersonal skills
Requirements
Minimum education level: Bachelor ́s Degree
5 years of experience
Language(s): English
Knowledge: SAP, Negotiation
