QUALIFICATIONS:
In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms
With knowledge in Quality Management System (QSM), Business Process Mapping, Policies and Standard Operation Procedure (SOPs), Regulatory Policies, Process and Compliance.
Displays the following competencies: Organizational Awareness, Business Acumen Persuasion and Negotiation Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain or other related fields;
10years' of in the manufacturing/fabrication/construction/ engineering/ formwork or falsework industry
Licensed Driver
JOB DESCRIPTION:
SOURCING: Responsible for sourcing competent suppliers who can deliver the requirements of the business unit while ensuring quality and affordability.
NEGOTIATION: Responsible for dealing with the suppliers/ external vendors during negotiation for the cost and payment terms while ensuring that policy and process are being observed.
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT: Responsible for reviewing the contracts and agreement with the suppliers to ensure that the Company will be protected from potential losses.
REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF JOB ORDERS OR PURCHASE ORDERS: Responsible for reviewing all Job Orders and Purchase Orders and ensures that they will be processed based on the agreed service level agreement while observing the standard process.
BUDGET MONITORING AND COST CONTROL: Responsible for implementing control strategies by reviewing all purchase requests and coaching other Department Heads for possible alternatives to minimize cost.
MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS: Responsible for representing the Procurement Department in the ManCom and carrying out management functions such as planning, leading, organizing and controlling in order to achieve departmental objectives
